Charlie Lee “Hillbilly” Weber, 57, passed away July 19, 2022, in rural Harper County. He was born on Aug. 9, 1964, in Great Bend to George and Ruth (Watkins) Weber. He married Sarah Vasquez on June 21, 2014, in Great Bend.
A lifetime area resident, Charlie was the owner and operator of C&S Tank Service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, St. Paul Catholic Church in Lyons and the Charlie’s Angels bowling team. He was a very hard worker and took pride that he enjoyed his work. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Charlie enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports, but he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include, his wife, Sarah Weber of the home; his father, George Weber of Great Bend; four sons, Jerrod Morgan (Carrie) of Riley, Jessie Trevino (Jessica) of Ponca City, Okla., Jordan Trevino (Erika) of Lincoln, and Mikal Trevino (Shazia) of Great Bend; four daughters, Kelsea Weber (Dustin), Mollie Weber and Letecia Trevino all of Great Bend and Mercedes Trevino of Bushton; three brothers, George Weber, Jr. (Zola), Jimmy Weber (Tiara), and Joe Denney (Sharon) all of Great Bend; a sister, Theresa Weber-Herzberg (Dale) of Great Bend; 20 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Weber; and a grandson, Michael Lee Morgan.
Visitation and Vigil service was held Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2022, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Kola presiding. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials have been designated to the Mikal Trevino Medical Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
