
On Friday, March 3 at approximately 7:53 a.m., officers from the Great Bend Police Department executed a search warrant for illegal narcotics at 2219 16th St., Apt. D in Great Bend.
Upon arrival, police apprehended two individuals inside the apartment complex identified as Garrett Buckbee, age 26 and Amanda Decker, age 35.

During a search of Apartment D, detectives located over 87 grams of methamphetamine, packaging materials, marijuana, prescription pills and suspected fentanyl pills consisting of fake oxycodone 30 mg pills more commonly known as "dirty 30's".
Buckbee and Decker were arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp. Additionally, Buckbee was charged with violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act. Buckbee and Decker were each booked in lieu of $300,000 cash surety bond.
