Kelly's Garden Sense boasts two Greenhouses. Named after her grandfathers, Bill is the Retail Shopping and Event Greenhouse and Milt is the Growing Greenhouse. Milt is currently undergoing a 40' expansion to the east of the property and will be celebrated with a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, March 21 following the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce coffee hour.
The crew has termed the greenhouse shopping experience the "Diamond in the Dirt," situated just one block East of the city limits (on a dirt road) at 134 NE 10 Ave. Great Bend.
From locally grown annuals resilient to the Kansas heat to exotic tropical plants and succulents that add a distinctive touch to your landscape, and even rare house plant varieties for year-round enjoyment – the greenhouses are a haven for plant lovers and gardening enthusiasts alike.
2024 will mark growth for Kelly’s Garden Sense, an expansion of the greenhouse and increased shopping hours daily from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Join Kelly’s Garden Sense for a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, March 21 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Ribbon Cutting around 10:30 a.m. following the Chamber coffee).
