RICE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 3p.m. Friday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Chevy Silverado driven by Robert Lynn Engle, 75, Great Bend, was westbound on Kansas 4 at 4th Road. The pickup crossed center line, entered the south ditch, jumped the 4th Road embankment and came to rest in the ditch.
EMS transported Engle to Clara Barton Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
