The Pizza Huts of Great Bend are doing their part to give back to the community during a time of need. Both Pizza Hut locations in Great Bend will be donating 10-percent of their sales to the Community Food Bank of Barton County the next four Thursdays, beginning April 30.

"Our gracious patrons in Great Bend have truly been supportive of us and keeping us afloat," said Eric Smith, Pizza Hut Regional Manager. "Now is the best time we thought to give back."

Regional Manager Eric Smith says he is a Barton County guy and knew he wanted give back in some fashion during this COVID-19 crisis.

"Who knows how long this will keep going?" stated Smith. "We just want to do our part and take a step in the right direction to our new norm."

The donations to the Food Bank will take place the next four Thursdays, April 30, May 7, May 14 and May 21. Pizza Hut is still offering delivery and carryout.

"We still keep everyone safe at Pizza Hut," Smith said. "We have the masks and gloves and still serve fresh food with a smile."

Pizza Hut is located at 4101 10th Street (620-792-8228) and 2006 Main Street (620-792-7161).
