The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “The Power Of Nine – Taking a Look at Blue Zones” on Wednesday, February 19th, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street).
The Blue Zones are places around the world where a large percentage of people live well into their 90’s and even 100. This educational program will focus on 9 lifestyle choices that the residents in the Blue Zones have found will help them achieve health aging. Since this will be the theme for the 2020 Walk KS program, speaker Donna Krug, Cottonwood Extension District Agent, will be promoting sign up for Walk KS at this program.
