Encounter Church, 601 Patton Road in Great Bend, would like to invite the Great Bend area to attend its annual Candy Blast happening on Saturday, March 30. The fun starts indoors at noon with tons of games, music, and giveaways for kids of all ages. Any child who is registered by their parents will be eligible to win some of the great prizes handed out throughout the indoor hour. At 1 p.m., the fun moves outdoors to the west end of the property, where kids will take turns lining up in age groups to watch thousands of pieces of candy launched from huge cannons.
“Invite your friends and family and make plans to join us for this free event," said Children's Pastor Megan Tate. "There is lots of candy for all and we make sure that nobody leaves empty-handed. If you don't have a church home, we'd love to have you back on Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m."
Anyone interested in learning more about the Candy Blast can find more details on the Encounter Church Event Facebook page. Visitors can also learn more about Encounter Church and its ministries online at www.encounterchurchgb.com.
