David A. Eaves, 34, died December 14, 2019, at his home in Wichita.  He was born September 28, 1985, in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Clyde and Karen (Thomas) Eaves. 

He was baptized and confirmed in the First United Methodist Church of Hoisington.

David graduated from Hoisington High School in 2004 and later from Barton County Community College, but he really enjoyed the culinary program that he graduated from at the North Central Kansas Tech College in Beloit, Kansas.

David most recently worked for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits Distributing Company and the Regal Theaters of Wichita.

He is survived by; mother, Karen O’Connor and husband Sheldon of Hoisington; father, Clyde Eaves and wife Diane of Ft. Scott, Kansas; sister, Mandy Turner and husband James of Great Bend; brother, Kenny Eaves and companion Teddi Snow of Hoisington; close friend, Jasmine Jernigan of Wichita; nieces, Shania, Emily, and Lindsay Turner; and great nieces, Brooklyn and Macie; many aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous friends and especially his guinea pigs.

Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., today through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, Hoisington, with Rev. Seong Lee presiding. Inurnment will follow in Hoisington Cemetery.  David would want everyone attending to dress in colorful casual clothing.
