ELLSWORTH COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 2a.m. Wednesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Eclipse driven by Rydge C. Grewe, 19, Salina, was westbound on Interstate 70, at the Kansas 14 South exit. The vehicle veered left off the exit ramp, struck the bridge embankment, went airborne and struck the guardrail on K-14.
EMS transported Grewe to the hospital in Ellsworth. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
