GREAT BEND - Robert C. “PeeWee” Berry, Sr., 94, passed away November 30, 2019, at the University Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus. He was born on August 31, 1925 at Larned to Clyde M. & Mildred (Prudham) Berry. He married Ellen Louise Mack on January 6, 1951 at Larned, Kansas. She died June 16, 2015.
A resident of Great Bend since 1974 coming from Larned, Robert was a truck driver for Doerr's International Harvester and worked for Dee Dove in Great Bend for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He loved to drive and see the county and enjoyed model cars.
Survivors include, one son, Robert Berry, Jr. of Great Bend; and one daughter, Nancy Jo Berry of Evansville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellen Berry; and one sister, Mary Louise Weible.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Larned Cemetery with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding.
