PRATT COUNTY—Three people died in a crash that occurred just after 10:30a.m. Tuesday in Pratt County.

According to Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper Chad Crittenden, a 2021 Nissan Kicks driven by Lilia Jasmin&nbsp;Barajas, 32, Wichita, was westbound on U.S. 54. just west of SW 19th Avenue and rear-ended the trailer of 2014 Peterbilt semi hauling sand that was stopped in a construction zone.

Barajas and two children in the back seat died, according to Crittenden.&nbsp; &nbsp;The driver of the semi Pedro Guilloty-Rodriguez, 38, Haines City Florida, was not injured.&nbsp;&nbsp;
