The Larned Police Department, Pawnee County Sheriff's Office and Larned Recreation Center is hosting their second annual Cops and Bobbers event on June 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 317 Cleveland Street in Larned.
The morning will include fishing with law enforcement and prizes. The Wildlife and Parks Department will provide loaner fishing poles, bait will be provided and a free lunch will be available. All ages are welcome to participate.
The two law enforcement agencies are also welcoming community donations. Anyone interested can send a check to the Larned Police Department or the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office, with "Cops and Bobbers" in the memo line. The agencies are accepting prize donations that can be given away during the event.
