Fidel Delgadillo, 49, passed away March 19, 2024, at his home in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on March 23, 1974, in Durango, Mexico, to Jose Fransico and Maria Rosalia (Acosta) Delgadillo.
A resident of Great Bend since 1992 coming from Mexico, he worked as a general contractor in the construction industry. Fidel was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed listening to music while enjoying beverages.
Survivors include three sons, Mario Delgadillo of Denver, Colorado, Jared Hickeling, and Alex Delgadillo of Albert; two daughters, Adriana and Sandra Delgadillo, both of Great Bend; two grandchildren, Hazley and Samuel; his parents; two brothers, Roberto and Miguel Delgadillo, both of Great Bend; four sisters, Maria Mayela Delgadillo of Mexico, Maricela Delgadillo of Great Bend, Rocio and Edelmira Delgadillo, both of Chicago, Illinois; ex-wife, Samantha Naab; and many other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gerardo Delgadillo.
Visitation will take place from noon to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, with vigil at 7:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials have been designated to the Fidel Delgadillo Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
