Great Bend Alive, the downtown initiative of Great Bend Economic Development (GBED), is excited to announce the return of Fridays on Forest on Friday, May 30, 2025. This family-friendly event will take place along Forest Avenue from Williams to Main Street and is free to attend, thanks to the generous sponsorship from Pryor Automatic Fire Sprinklers.
This month’s event will feature a special appearance by the Great Bend Bat Cats baseball team. With their season opener just one day away, fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and show their support ahead of opening night. Live music from Artifact will set the tone for an energetic evening downtown, while local food and drink favorites will keep guests well-fed and refreshed. Attendees can enjoy offerings from Lumpy’s, Los Dos Portillos, Lana’s Catering & Goodies, The Spread Catering, and Freaking Delicious Cheesecake Co. Drink vendors for the evening include Charlie’s Place, Dry Lake Brewing, Los Dos Portillos, Lumpy’s, and Avast Ye Java Coffee.
