JUPITER ISLAND, Fla. (AP) — Officials say Tiger Woods has been released on bail hours after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Officials say his Land Rover clipped a truck and rolled onto its side. The sheriff's office says he was released from jail late Friday. Florida law required that he spend at least eight hours in jail before he could post bail. He was not injured in the crash. Sheriff John Budensiek says Woods had been traveling at “high speeds” on a residential road and after the crash showed “signs of impairment." Woods’ manager at Excel Sports did not immediately respond to a text message seeking comment.
The Big Ten has four teams in the NCAA Tournament's regional finals. That's made the league the top performer in March Madness. That comes a year after the Southeastern Conference grabbed the spotlight with tournament records of 14 bids and seven teams in the Sweet 16. The Big Ten set its own record with six teams in the Sweet 16. Now there's an all-Big Ten regional final between Illinois and Iowa. Michigan will next face Tennessee, and Purdue will face Arizona. The winners will go to Indianapolis for the Final Four.

Playing less than three weeks after surgery on his left foot, Foster scored all of his 11 points in the second half. Isaiah Evans scored 25 points and Cameron Boozer had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils, who extended the nation’s longest active winning streak to 14, but not before the tenacious Red Storm pushed Duke to the wire. Duke will face second-seeded UConn in Sunday’s East Region final.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Tarris Reed Jr. scored 20 points, Alex Karaban added 17, and both made pressure-packed free throws in the final minute that helped second-seeded UConn hold off third-seeded Michigan State 67-63 in the Sweet 16. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Ashlon Jackson’s 3-pointer at the buzzer lifted third-seeded Duke to an 87-85 win over No. 2 seed LSU in the Sweet 16 of the women’s NCAA Tournament on Friday night. Jackson’s shot from the wing right in front of Duke’s bench rolled around the rim before dropping in setting off a wild celebration by the Blue Devils. She caught the ball on the wing and after faking LSU defender Flau’Jae Johnson put the ball up in the air. Duke will face top-seeded UCLA in the Elite Eight of Sacramento 2 Regional on Sunday.
