The Barton County Historical Society will host a volunteer orientation at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 6 at the museum, 85 S. Hwy. 281, Great Bend. Anyone who is interested in volunteering may attend the short orientation for information about various volunteer opportunities and upcoming events.
The historical village will change to summer hours beginning Tuesday, April 8, running through the end of October. Hours will be Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 1-5 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays.
