Families from the Great Bend area and surrounding communities are invited to the Candy Blast on Saturday, April 19 at Encounter Church, 601 Patton Road in Great Bend.
The fun kicks off at 12 p.m. indoors with an hour of games, music, and giveaways for kids of all ages. Parents, be sure to register, as they’ll be eligible to win prizes during the indoor festivities.
At 1 p.m., the fun moves outdoors to the west end of the property, where kids will get to line up by age group and watch thousands of pieces of candy launched from huge cannons.
This is a free event for the whole family—come out for an afternoon of fun, games, and sweet treats.
“Invite your friends and family and make plans to join us for this free event," said Megan Tate, Children’s Pastor at Encounter Church. "There is lots of candy for all and we make sure that nobody leaves empty handed. if you don't have a church home, we'd love to have you back on Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m."
