The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the return of its highly anticipated members only event, Pints & Politics, sponsored by Kansas Gas Service. Scheduled for April 16, 2024, at Dry Lake Brewing in downtown Great Bend, Pints & Politics promises an afternoon of lively discussions, networking opportunities, and insider insights into the world of politics and business.

Pints & Politics is not your ordinary political affair; it's a dynamic "happy hour" where members and their guests can mingle, connect, and exchange insights with fellow business leaders and elected officials from Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas, and the US. This exclusive event offers a unique chance to engage directly with decision-makers and influencers from various levels of government. Elected officials invited include a diverse array of representatives from key offices, including the Great Bend City Council, Barton County Commissioners, USD 428 Board of Education, Barton Community College Board of Trustees, Kansas State Legislators, and staff members of our Federal delegation.

The highlight of the evening will be the appearance of Eric Stafford, Vice President of Government Affairs at the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. Stafford, known for his captivating storytelling and insider knowledge, will offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the workings of the Kansas Chamber, Kansas Statehouse, and more.

The event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with a lively happy hour featuring light appetizers and a cash bar, providing ample opportunities for networking and conversation. At 5:15 p.m., brief introductions of delegates will allow attendees to put faces to names. From 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., guests will have the exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes with Eric Stafford, VP of Government Affairs at the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.

Door prizes will be awarded at 6:15 p.m., concluding the event at 6:30 p.m., leaving attendees energized and inspired by the evening's discussions.

Admission is complimentary for Chamber members, but we kindly request RSVPs to secure a spot through the events calendar on the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce website.
