Battery charges for multiple recent Great Bend arrests

On 06/09/2024 at approximately 2:52 P.M., Officers from the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of Washington St. in reference to a Battery. The victim advised Officers she was battered by JOSEPH ROGERS w/m 49, who then fled the scene. Great Bend EMS transported the victim to The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus. Officers obtained information that ROGERS was possibly at a location outside the city limits. Deputies from the Barton County Sheriff's Office assisted, and were able to locate ROGERS, and place him under arrest. ROGERS was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

On 06/02/2024 Officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to the 1200 block of Madison St, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon Officers arrival, they contacted the victim who reported she was having an argument with her boyfriend, ROBERT STANLEY WM 38. During the investigation, the victim stated STANLEY was holding her down on the bed and impeded her ability to breathe. Officers arrested STANLEY and transported him to the Barton County Jail where he was booked on requested charges of aggravated domestic battery and criminal restraint.

On 06/02/2024 at approximately 02:23 A.M. Officers from the Great Bend Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Warner Cir. During the investigation, officers received reports that PHIL REGISTER WM 47, battered a family member causing the family member to lose teeth. REGISTER was arrested on scene for Aggravated Battery and was booked at the Barton County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 C/S bond.

On 06/02/2024 at approximately 01:35 A.M. Officers from the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to Charlie's Place, 1109 Main St, reference a hit and run accident. Officers where advised, ANGEL ARMENDARIZ-GALINDO HM 38  was the driver who left the scene. Upon officers’ arrival, they observed ANGEL ARMENDARIZ-GALINDO to return to the scene while operating a vehicle.  ANGEL ARMENDARIZ-GALINDO was later arrested for driving while suspended, trafficking contraband into a Correctional facility, Possession of Cocaine, and driving while being a Habitual Violator.
