STAFFORD COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Tuesday in Stafford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by Martin Wicken, 28, Colby, was eastbound on U.S. 50 just west of Southwest 100th Avenue. The semi sideswiped a 2016 Ford F25 driven by Robert Madison, 70, Kinsley, who had work lights and turn signal on when attempting to turn into a field to drop off a mower driver.
EMS transported Madison and a passenger Joseph Hughes, 46, Kinsley, to the Edwards County Hospital. Wicken was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
