Jace James Fox, 19, passed away Jan. 23, 2023 at his home in Larned with his loving family by his side.
He was born March 6, 2003 in Great Bend, the son of Justin L. and Stephani A. Kirchgassner Fox.
A lifetime area resident, he loved playing games and watching game shows, collecting Hot Wheels, playing video games and building with Nano Blocks, and listening to all types of music. He was an avid KU fan and loved animals, especially cats. Jace approached each day with a positive attitude, a fighting spirit, and a bright smile that would light up any room despite his many life challenges.
Survivors include: parents, Justin and Stephani Fox, Larned; sister, Jori (Tanner) Ford, Broken Arrow, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Dewight and Sue Kirchgassner, Larned; three aunts, Melani Kirchgassner, McPherson, Sharon (Jim Harbour) Fox-East, Great Bend, and Debora (Roger) Fox-Johnson, Larned; and his cat, Crash.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Darlene Fox.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at Larned Cemetery with Pastor Rhonda Glenn presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, with family present 5-7 p.m.
