Too bad the Great Bend Lady Panthers don't play soccer in the Wichita City League instead of the stacked Western Athletic Conference. Great Bend improved to 3-0 against City Leagues this season as they defeated Wichita South 6-1 Wednesday in Wichita.
The Lady Panthers improved to 4-11 with the victory while keeping the Titans (0-15) winless in 2022.
Great Bend wraps up the regular season Thursday at Junction City-St. Xavier. The Bluejays are 6-9 on the season after dropping a 1-0 match at Dodge City Tuesday.
