Barton County is continuing its investment in local businesses and community improvement with the approval of a Façade Improvement Grant for K4 Fuel and Wash in Claflin.
During this week’s meeting, the Barton County Commission approved the project following action by the City of Claflin. The business, located at 200 E. Front Street, will complete a $3,976.85 façade improvement project with a 25% match provided by the applicant.
Through the cooperative program, Barton County and the city of Claflin will share in supporting the approved grant, continuing a partnership designed to encourage reinvestment in local commercial properties.
The project is another example of the Façade Improvement Grant Program reaching businesses throughout Barton County and helping property owners make visible improvements within their communities.
Commissioners approved the project as part of the county’s continued effort to work alongside local cities and business owners, support reinvestment, and strengthen the appearance and vitality of Barton County communities.
