Great Bend Post
Great Bend’s Jadynce Jean is spending plenty of time in Nashville, Tennessee this summer as she continues to pursue her dream of being a country music artist. Jean stays in Nashville roughly two weeks every month to co-write and perform with other artists.
"I love Great Bend, but nobody here is chasing the same kind of dream," said Jean. "I don't have song writers around here. There's no one to push you. When you're around everyone chasing the same dream, you have to be the best. You have to push yourself all the time."
Jean’s latest single, “Good Drinkin’ Song,” was released last Friday. Co-writer Lance Carpenter asked Jean what she felt like writing one day. Jean responded she likes a good drinking song and the two put the song together.
Along with promoting “Good Drinkin’ Song,” Jean wants to stay busy with new music.
"I have all kinds of trips to Nashville planned and lots of good writes on the books," said Jean. "A whole lot of writing is going on right now."
Jean will be performing at the Russell County Fair on July 23.
