USD 428 Great Bend will be holding a surplus sale open to the public on Friday, Oct. 4, at the district’s former maintenance and transportation building, 2099 12th Street in Great Bend. The sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a variety of surplus items available for purchase.
Items for sale include:
· Desks
· Chairs
· Tables
· Cubicles and cubicle parts
· Other larger surplus items
This is a cash-and-carry event, meaning all purchases must be taken by buyers at the time of sale. All sales are final, and USD 428 will not provide loading, carrying, or delivery services for any items.
“We’re excited to offer the community the opportunity to purchase useful items as we clear out our surplus,” said John Popp, assistant superintendent for USD 428. “There’s a wide variety of items available, so we encourage everyone to come and check it out.”
Items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be no holds or reservations.
