From UWCK
United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) is accepting applications for its Impact Grant Program, offering grants of up to $1,000 to support local projects and programs serving Barton and Pawnee counties. The application deadline is Nov. 13.
The program supports nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies working to address unmet needs, develop innovative solutions, and make a lasting impact in the areas of Healthy Communities, Financial Security, Youth Opportunity, and Community Resiliency.
"Sometimes a small amount of funding can make a big difference," said Charell Owings, Executive Director of United Way of Central Kansas. "We know there are great ideas throughout our communities, and we want to help organizations turn those ideas into meaningful action."

UWCK awards up to $5,000 annually through the program, with applications reviewed twice a year in May and November. Funding is intended for specific projects or programs rather than general operating expenses or event sponsorships.
Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply by Nov. 13 at www.uwck.org/impact-grant-application.
