The Barton Community College esports program's week four of the season posted mixed results with the Rocket League squad continuing to move up the rankings.
Moving up seven spots to No. 13 in the country, Barton's Rocket League rolled past Nassau Community College by a combined 25-6 score in a four game sweep winning 7-3, 7-1, 8-0, and 3-2.
Also moving up in the team rankings from 13th to 8th, the Rainbow 6 Siege pushed 3rd ranked Northern Essex Community College to a two-game split with the Cougars winning game one 7-3 before falling 7-5.
Madden 21 matchups pitted top ranked Davon Morris against 3rd ranked Garden City Community College as the duo split their two games. Suffering his first loss of the season with the Broncbuster winning 32-14, Morris bounced back with a 42-30 victory to salvage the doubleheader.
Brayden Clare picked up a pair of dominating victories as the 32nd ranked player defeated 36th ranked Madison College 34-9 and 58-18. Thirty-first ranked Corey Hale picked up a forfeit win over 11th Carl Albert State College while 17th ranked Anthony Twiggs did not compete this week.
Elijah Payne placed 7th in Fortnite behind five eliminations with Trent Keffer coming up empty.
Barton's Super Smash Brothers duo had a rough week as 19th ranked Landon Robl lost 4-2 to Gogebic Community College while 8th ranked Bryce Boltman lost 4-1 to Carl Albert State College.
