Judy Ann Stemm, age 76

Judy Ann Stemm, 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Jetmore, Kansas, October 25, 2024. She was born July 4, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio to Ernest and Virginia (Elson) Lyons.

Judy was a carnival worker for Nolan’s Carnival, traveling all over to entertain people. She would visit any zoos she could find. She loved to play bingo and when she was younger, enjoyed bowling. She played Diner Dash in her down time. But, above all, she enjoyed having family gatherings.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy Lashley and her husband Jim of Zanesville, their son Wesley Grisset, and his children, Rolan Grissett and Orion Grissett; their daughter, Chasity Rose Grissett, her children, Haven Willeth, Cade Isadore, Marlee Isadore, and Kamari; daughter, Kenna Kennedy and her daughter Akyiah Mae Kennedy; son, Ronnie Lyons and his wife Kathy from Plant City, Fla., their children Robert Lyons and his daughter Alyssa Lyons; Autumn Lyons and her children, Aiden Cameron, Jason, Emma, Bryson, Adelia and Isen Moore; son, Tommy Smith and his wife Jennette of Zanesville, and their children Brittany, Jessica, and Tara Smith; daughter, Sherry Crooks and her husband Mikael of Jetmore, their son, Kenneth Harman and fiancee’ Brittany Taylor and their children, Aiden and Jonny Taylor, Liam, Xavier, and Peyton Harman; daughter Judy Spicer and her husband Alex and their children, Clifford and Addilyn Spicer; son, Hunter McEachern and his wife Nicole; daughter, Melissa Crain and her husband Billy and their children Christina and Bailey Purcell and their children, Jaiden Stephens, Elijah and Christian Smith; son, Nicholas Thurston, and his son Bill Bill Crain; son, John Stemm and his children Matthew and Brandon Stemm, and his daughter, Lyra Stemm, Hope Kustmann and her husband Marino and their 7 children siblings, Ernie Lyons and his wife Nancy, Betty Doner, Bobby Lyons and his wife Debbie, Rita Constant and her husband Brian, Roger Lyons and his wife, Gayla, Teresa Lyons, Randy Lyons and his wife Melissa, Nancy Lyons, Brenda Kennedy and her husband Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Lyons; sister, Helen Hoadley; grandchildren, Randy Moore and Jason Moore.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home with Chaplain David Johnson presiding. Memorials have been designated to Judy Stemm Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
