The Barton County Landfill will host the first scheduled household hazardous waste collection of 2021:
Saturday, April 17
8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Barton County Landfill, 350 NE 30 Rd
The HHW program is provided at no cost to the public to prevent household hazardous materials from being placed in the landfill and to protect the environment. Landfill staff will be on-site to assist unloading of vehicles.

Paint/Finishing products
Garden/Pest Control products
Automotive products
Waste Oil
Used Antifreeze
Unacceptable Wastes:
Commercial, Business, or Farm waste
Infectious waste
Radioactive waste
Asbestos
Explosives
Laboratory Chemicals
