
Jeff Pike, an associate of Langdon & Emison, Independence, Mo., was honored on Oct. 9, with a 2025 Up & Coming Lawyers Award from Missouri Lawyers Media. The award is given to attorneys who have shown exemplary success in their first 10 years of law practice.
A graduate of Washburn University School of Law, Pike began his legal career defending corporations and insurance companies in a wide range of matters. This included products liability, automotive, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Earlier in this year, he was also selected as a National Trial Lawyers’ 40 Under 40 honoree.
Pike practices in the firm’s Independence, Mo., office. During his law school career, he graduated cum laude and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award (top grade) in four of his courses at Washburn. He additionally honed his legal writing, research, and analysis skills while in law school by serving as a Notes Editor for the Washburn Law Journal as well as a teaching assistant for Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing courses. Pike was also a recipient of the Frank M. Rice Scholarship and the Justice Alex M. Fromme Memorial Scholarship from the Kansas Bar Foundation.
Jeff is the son of Great Bend's Chuck and Elleen Pike, and a 2011 graduate of Great Bend High School.
