Henry 'Roger' Kneller, age 80

Henry “Roger” Kneller, 80, passed away January 4, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born August 25, 1942, at Whitemouth, Manitoba, Canada, to Herman and Rose (Mergle) Kneller. He married Doris Miller Reile on November 4, 2002.

Coming from White Horse, Yukon, Canada in 2002, Roger was a current rural Albert resident. He was a self-employed water well driller, builder, and a skilled “jack of all trades”. He was a member of the Great Bend Seventh-day Adventist Church. Roger enjoyed acrylic painting and anything that kept his hands busy, including, construction, carpentry and plumbing. He was known to help any family or church member with any task, often a task that ordinarily would have been a task of ten men.

Survivors include, his wife, Doris Reile-Kneller of rural Albert; two sons, Brendon Kneller of Pelly Crossing, Yukon, Canada and Bruce Reile of Albert; two daughters, Deanna Kneller (Tom Gainz) of Elkford, British Columbia, Canada and Marina Reile-Rodriguez (Jesus) of Rialto, California; twelve grandchildren, Logan and Angelina LaGault, Ava and Gavin Gainz, Bryanna Dick-Tibbett, Nicole Dick, Melissa Reile (Loren) Sponsel, Nathan Reile, David, Quextzali, Iztzali, and Omar Rodriguez and six great grandchildren, Josiah and Brooklynn Dick -Tibbett, Hailee LeBel, Avery, Dominic and Aiden Sponsel; three sisters, Irene Hoover (Melvin) of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, Delphine Guttormson of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada and Judith Kneller of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Raymond Kneller and two sisters, Hedwig Toombs and infant, Irma Kneller.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Great Bend Seventh- day Adventist Church, with Pastor Jim Martin presiding. A private family inurnment will be in the LaCrosse Cemetery, LaCrosse. Memorials have been designated to the Great Bend Seventh Day Adventist Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
