The United Way of Central Kansas is partnering with Applebee’s Grill & Bar in Great Bend to host a fundraising event.
"Thank you, United Way of Central Kansas for all you do to give people a hand up," said Wade Phillips, director of operations for Applebee's of Kansas. "Applebee's is excited to support your work on Feb. 22.”
The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The fundraiser will feature five of Applebee’s most popular menu items and can be ordered dine-in or carry-out.
The special fundraiser menu consists of Three Cheese Chicken Penne, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, and Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.
United Way of Central Kansas will receive 50% of the ticket sales from any of these meal options.
“This partnership is a great way for the community to support UWCK, simply by taking a day off from having to cook," said Charell Owings, UWCK Executive Director. "We are grateful to have business partners like Applebee’s who reach out to help their community. We hope to have a great turnout, whether you decide to stop in or take your order home.”
