Rosie Joiner knows a thing or two about selecting the proper grand
marshal to lead a parade. Joiner was selected last year to be the grand marshal
of the After Harvest Festival Parade in Ellinwood.
Joiner was happy to announce
this week the selection of Stephen Richter as the 2022 grand marshal.
"We're always looking for someone who gives exemplary service and dedication to our community," said Joiner. "We look for someone that exemplifies the spirit of Ellinwood and is very involved. Stephen is that."
Ellinwood’s After Harvest Festival is July 13-16.
The parade occurs Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m.
The rest of the festival includes concerts, food trucks, dances, family events,
inflatables and more.
