City of Hoisington requests residents leave pink flags in place through April 24

The city of Hoisington is working with the Midwest Assistance Program to update its water system maps and needs your help. In an effort to streamline the process, the city will be placing pink flags throughout the community to mark several thousand points in the system prior to the mapping equipment being in town. If you see a pink flag (or several pink flags) in your yard, please do not remove it until the system mapping is complete. If you need to move it for yard maintenance, please put it back where it was.

The mapping equipment is scheduled to be in Hoisington April 20-24, and the city would appreciate your assistance in keeping the flags in place until after April 24.

Thank you for your assistance in these efforts. If you have any questions about the flags, please contact the city office at 620-653-4125.
