
On Wednesday, March 26, at approximately 10:48 p.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to Kwik Shop, 2337 Main in Great Bend, in reference to a threat. The victims reported they had been driving on 10th Street when a male subject in a white F-350 pickup pulled out a gun and brandished it at the victims. The Officers were also advised that the suspect threw a WD40 can at the victim's car, breaking the headlight and that he threw a beer bottle at the car, denting the door.
The GBPD was assisted by the Hoisington Police Department, who located and detained the suspect in their city.
Aiden Roach, age 18, was transported to the Barton County jail where he was booked on the requested charges of criminal threat and criminal damage to property, in lieu of bond.
