Great Bend Police Department incident log (7/29)
The Great Bend Police Department responded to the following notable calls between Tuesday, July 29 and early Wednesday, July 30, 2025:
- 12:01 a.m. – K-9 deployment during a traffic stop at 23rd Street and Kansas Avenue.
- 1:54 a.m. – Follow-up conducted at the Barton County Detention Center.
- 2:26–2:50 a.m. – Multiple overnight foot patrols at local businesses including Tractor Supply, Mr. Burger, BMO Bank, Z’s Liquor Mart, and Arby’s.
- 3:59 a.m. – Resident at 2401 Walnut Drive reported hearing someone inside her room. Officers found no threat.
- 8:53 a.m. – 911 hang-up investigated at Veterans Park restrooms, 4714 17th Street Terrace.
- 10:56 a.m. – Report taken for a violation of a protection order at the Family Crisis Center, 1924 Broadway Ave.

- 11:40 p.m.–12:55 a.m. – Officers assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic stop and arrest at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th Street. K-9 also deployed.
- 2:01 a.m. (July 30) – Foot patrol conducted at Stoneridge Golf Club, 1438 24th Street.
