The Barton County Commission will host a National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor town hall meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the GREAT BEND EVENTS CENTER, 3111 – 10th STREET, Great Bend, Kansas. This open forum meeting is planned as a way for local governmental agencies, as well as the public, to discuss the designation process, route boundaries and coordinated response efforts.
