From the Larned Police Department...
On Thursday, Oct. 24, law enforcement from the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office, Larned Police Department and the United States Marshals Office Fugitive Task Force apprehended a dangerous fugitive in the 200 block of East 20th Street. The suspect was wanted on felony warrants out of Washington State and federal warrants for parole violations stemming from weapons offenses and robbery.
The suspect was taken into custody after a brief standoff and evaluated by Pawnee County EMS after being struck multiple times by conductive electrical weapons (TASER).
The Police Department communicated with Larned Elementary School and sent the Pawnee County SRO to the Larned Elementary School for extra precaution.
