2 women arrested following narcotics search warrant on Baker Ave.

On Friday, Nov. 13 at approximately 11:52 a.m., members of the Great Bend Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at 1212 Baker Avenue in Great Bend as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

During a search of the residence, methamphetamine and items of illegal drug paraphernalia were located inside of the residence. Two minor children were removed from the residence and placed with Juvenile Services as child in need of care.

Audra M. Cross, age 36, was arrested on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp, and child endangerment.

Daisy A. Cordova, age 36, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.

Both Cross and Cordova were transported to the Barton County Detention Center and booked in lieu of bond.
