On Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Hoisington Police Department received a report regarding a suspicious individual in the Hoisington High School parking lot. A male subject driving a silver GMC pickup approached two female students and asked if they were interested in joining a sports program in Texas. The individual left the area without incident.
Law enforcement has had prior contact with this individual, but there is no immediate threat to the public. The situation is being actively monitored, and the HPD is conducting an investigation into the matter.
