Last week the focus was on Great Bend Airfest. This week the focus shifts to a fake murder mystery that needs to be solved. Part of Ladies Night Out, the downtown shopping event on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., the murder mystery will allow patrons to win prizes at participating stores.
Great Bend Community Coordinator Christina Hayes said City Administrator Logan Burns is the victim in the game with shoppers trying to figure out the “who, what and where” the events took place.
"It's a process of elimination," said Hayes. "Pictures of city councilmembers and workers are on evidence cards. There are also weapons associated with each store. They mark off the weapons, suspects and locations. The goal is to figure out, by process of elimination, who fake murdered our city administrator."
To win, you must go to all 19 businesses participating in the game. Once you fill out the form with your answers, the paper can be submitted to City Hall (1209 Williams) by Friday, Sept. 27 at 12 p.m. for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
