The Great Bend Recreation Commission youth indoor soccer season begins Wednesday, Oct. 25, with the annual coaches meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Burnside room at the Great Bend Rec, 1214 Stone Street. Anyone interested in coaching a kindergarten through 8th grade boys or girls team should contact the Great Bend Rec at 620-793-3755 or stop by the 1214 Stone Street address to complete a coaching application.
Coaches and assistant coaches will receive their team rosters, schedule practices, review the rules and discuss coaching techniques in preparation for practices beginning Monday, Oct. 30. Games are scheduled to begin Saturday, Nov. 18, with the season ending Jan. 20, 2024, weather pending.
