At approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, Great Bend Fire Department personnel and the Barton County Sheriff's Office responded to an injury accident at U.S. 281 Highway and Northeast 30 Road. The accident involved a passenger car and a motorcycle.
Traffic is being diverted from 281 Highway and Northeast 30 Road to surrounding roads, though north and southbound traffic is unobstructed on Washington Avenue.
