GBRC: Exploring Basic Woodcarving

The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Exploring Basic Woodcarving” on Wednesday, October 28th, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street). 

Are you looking for a new hobby to keep you busy?  If so, why not try woodcarving.  Join us and learn about the basic equipment, the different types of wood you can use and how to get started in this hobby.

This program is limited to the first 20 participants.  The presentation will also be available on the Great Bend Rec Facebook page as a live event.  Tim Boxberger and Barry Bowers, members of the Golden Belt Woodcarvers Club, will be the speakers for the program.
