While teams like the Great Bend Bat Cats and Hutchinson Broncos are thriving with their summer baseball teams, other members of the Sunflower Collegiate league don't have the same passion for success.
Great Bend found out Monday that your league is only as good as all members as the Wichita Lobos have decided to cancel the four game series with the Bat Cats that was scheduled to begin Monday night.
That means Great Bend will lose two home games this week, Tuesday night and Thursday night.
Bat Cat Manager Roger Ward made it official last night on twitter that Tuesday, July 26th will be the teams final home game of the season after disucussing the possibility of that happening on Monday's Bat Cat interview on Great Bend Post.
