Great Bend, Kansas - The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to introduce the 2024 Chamber Ambassadors, a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting the Chamber and the flourishing business community of Great Bend. These Ambassadors, supported by their employers, play a vital role in promoting Chamber services to its member base of over 600 businesses.

If you've attended Chamber events like our weekly Chamber Coffees, After-Hours gatherings, or ribbon cuttings, you've likely encountered one of our passionate Ambassadors easily identifiable by their distinctive red shirts. They're present at key events like the Annual Awards Banquet and Annual Golf Tournament embodying our commitment to being actively involved in the local business ecosystem.

"As champions and community leaders, our Ambassadors are the eyes and ears of the Chamber, actively listening to the needs of our diverse membership," said Chamber CEO, Megan Barfield. "With limited staff resources the Ambassadors bridge the gap between staff and business while fostering invaluable business relationships."

The Ambassadors serve as a force multiplier for the Chamber, allowing it to connect with the region's most successful individuals and businesses. Their volunteer efforts are a testament to their commitment to community development and the growth of Great Bend as a vibrant business hub.

Ambassadors choose this role for various reasons, often finding both personal and professional rewards. Many Ambassadors are business owners or individuals seeking increased community involvement. Being a Chamber Ambassador provides them with opportunities to forge new connections, exchange ideas, and enhance their visibility in the community.

Lindsey Bogner, President of the 2024 Ambassador Club and Director of Institutional Advancement for Barton Community College, shared her enthusiasm, "As an Ambassador, I have experienced firsthand the power of connecting with diverse businesses and professionals. It's not just about supporting the Chamber; it's about building a network that propels personal and professional growth. The red blazer I wear proudly represents my commitment to Great Bend's business community."

Edward Jones Financial Advisor and 2024 Ambassador Club Vice President, Kris Sundahl, echoed similar sentiments,"Being a Chamber Ambassador has been a great experience. The role has allowed me to engage with the community in so many ways while making some really great connections and friendships along the way."

The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce invites the community to acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable contributions of the 2024 Chamber Ambassadors, whose commitment and enthusiasm are driving the region's business success.
