The Great Bend High School volleyball team keeps rolling. Less than a week after opening the season with a pair of 2-set wins against Western Athletic Conference foes, the Lady Panthers did it again Tuesday evening in Dodge City. After taking down the Red Remons 25-22, 25-10, Great Bend downed Guymon (Okla.) 25-18, 25-11 to move to 4-0 on the season.

Junior Kara Feist and freshman Kya Behr proved to be the big force up front against Dodge City with eight kills apiece. Junior Cassie Ellegood added another five kills. Feist was also big on the defensive side with four blocks. Senior Sadie Spray led the defense with 12 digs, followed by six each from Behr and senior Lauryn Davis, and five apiece from seniors Macy Nachtigal and Makenzie Premer. Behr and Spray finished with 13 and seven assists, respectively.

Feist again paced the Panthers with eight kills and a pair of blocks in the Guymon match. Ellegood and Spray combined for nine more kills, and Behr finished with two kills and two blocks. Great Bend served up 11 aces in the win, led by six from Davis and two from senior Paige Thexton, who also led the back row with nine digs. Behr accounted for 17 of the team's 20 assists.

Great Bend takes its 4-0 record to the Riley County Tournament on Saturday.
