The Larned Police Department is seeking assistance from the public with a shoplifting incident that occurred on Sunday, Feb. 18 at Big R in Larned.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., two male subjects came into Big R, each with a shopping cart. Each of the male subjects filled their shopping carts and then left the store and went to a newer model, silver Jeep Cherokee and filled the back of the vehicle with the merchandise and left Big R going east from Larned.
Two females were observed getting out of the back seat of the Jeep Cherokee and walked over to Dollar General while the male subjects were in Big R. A photo of the two female subjects was obtained from Dollar General security video.
The estimated loss from the store is approximately $3,000.
