Kelly's Garden Sense, a destination for plant enthusiasts, announced the expansion of its Milt Greenhouse with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place on Thursday, March 21, hosted by the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce.
Named after Kelly's grandfathers, Bill and Milt, Bill Greenhouse, serving as the Retail Shopping and Event space, and Milt Greenhouse, dedicated to cultivation, offer a diverse array of plant varieties, pottery, trees, shrubs and more.
Situated just one block east of the city limits at 134 NE 10 Ave., Great Bend, KS, Kelly's Garden Sense has become known as the "Diamond in the Dirt." With its expansion, the greenhouse promises an even wider selection of plants and products, including locally grown annuals, exotic tropical plants, succulents, and rare houseplant varieties.
In addition to the expansion, Kelly's Garden Sense will be extending its shopping hours daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and introducing a range of new events and workshops, catering to local groups, photography enthusiasts and more.
