The submission deadline for pool forms with the City of Hoisington was May 1. The forms allow Hoisington citizens access to the pool all summer without getting charged each time they go. With residents allowed four guest passes as well, Hoisington City Manager Jonathan Mitchell said more than 3,000 names were submitted.
Patrons will experience new pool management this summer in Hoisington.
"Trinity Lutters and Kynlie Crowdis, both college athletes, have come back to Hoisington to help to lead the pool this summer," said Mitchell. "We're excited to open the pool on Memorial Day weekend."
Mitchell said the pool entrance cost is $3 for any nonresident or anyone that did not submit a pool form, ages three and older. An individual season pass is $50 and $100 for the whole family.
The pool in Hoisington opens Saturday, May 25. Normal hours for the pool will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturdays and Sundays the pool is open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Night swims will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
